ALDC Volunteer Network
Here you can find details of ALDC’s Volunteer Network. This network of Liberal Democrat councillors and campaigners is here to make sure our members can keep up to date with best practice and receive all the support they need. Our volunteers have been selected to function in three roles; Area Contact, Group Away Day Facilitator, and Volunteer Advisor. You can find contact details for all of our volunteers by clicking on the role you require.
If you are interested in finding out more about becoming an ALDC volunteer, please contact us at volunteers@aldc.org or for a phone conversation please contact Anders Hanson on 01422 843 785.
Area Contact
Our Area Contacts keep ALDC informed of political developments at area-wide and local levels on a regular basis. Monitoring potentially controversial issues and keeping in touch with local Liberal Democrat groups, our Area Contacts are instrumental in ensuring ALDC remains aware of and responsive to the requirements of our members at grassroots level.
Group Away Day Facilitator
Our Group Away Day Facilitators are accredited trainers, who can help Liberal Democrat council groups get the most out of their away days. Away days themselves are arranged by the group, our facilitators can be arranged in conjunction with ALDC. If you are interested in having a facilitator for your next away day, please let us know by emailing volunteers@aldc.org.
Volunteer Advisor
ALDC’s Volunteer Advisors are here to help with specialist or detailed enquiries. Building on their experience at council level, they will assist members with their concerns in appropriate cases. Contact with volunteer advisors is via the political staff at ALDC, so please make any enquiries in the usual way and if further assistance is required, we will be happy to forward your request.
