ALDC's new 2011 FOCUS Templates

Thursday 03 February 2011 12:00

ALDC has commissioned a series of FOCUS and campaign material templates for use by Liberal Democrat campaigners. These are exclusively available to members of ALDC.

Pack 1 was released in December:
The templates include:
A3, A4, and A3 booklet style FOCUS  - all of which have been produced in black and white, two colour (for RISOs) and in full colour (Colour RISO or commercial printer). All the FOCUS leaflets have variations to allow for single and for two and three member wards and election campaigns, and different bar charts for fighting the Tories and Labour.

These are accompanied by some other resources useful all year round - two letterhead template and year-round doorstep calling leaflets - also in various versions.

Pack 2 has been released at the start of February:

This contains materials to cover the period up to the early part of the election campaign 'proper' and includes:

Ideas for direct mail  - new voter letters and insert, postal voter recruitment letters and form, and a 'campaign launch' direct mail with different versions for conservative and labour facing areas, together with an A4 direct mail insert.

Also enclosed for the start of your election campaign is an A3 "Flying Start" Focus leaflet and a "Councillors Annual Report" and some election poster templates.

All the materials are produced as appropriate in three versions: black and white, two colour (for RISO) and in full colour (for external printers). All our resources are produced in PagePlus11 (these will still open in later versions of PagePlus). We've also included PDFs of all the documents for you take a look at each template.

The templates use a standard set of fonts, which you need to install on your computer first - or the templates won't work correctly!
