Thank You and a bit of background

As you will see this is a Con gain from LD yet our vote went up 9.2%. This was due to the fact that it was a two seat ward that elected a Tory and Lib Dem last May. However we came 2nd 60 votes behind. so it really was the Tories to lose. Amazingly in the same seat with the same electorate and same candidates for all parties on the same day, we won the by-election for Clitheroe Town Council 212 LD to 204 Con!! (Full result on next page of site) I guess it's some small comfort. Thanks to all those who cam and helped
